WING AND A PRAYER
The British TV series A Wing and a Prayer had nothing to do with WWII aviators. Instead, the series, A Wing and A Prayer was a trendy legal drama series filmed and screened on Channel 5 which devoted itself to the exploits of a young and hungry law firm, populated by young, hungry, and very attractive lawyers. In the
fine tradition of such American weeklies as L.A. Law and The Practice, the attorneys herein played as hard as they worked, with sexual intrigues and one-upsmanship abounding.
Lasting 12 episodes, Wing and a Prayer debuted
September 22, 1997.
Starring Kate Buffery and Maureen Beattie
TWELTH NIGHT OR WHAT YOU WILL
4Learning's version of Twelth Night is an exciting contemporary telling of this complex tale. It incorporates modern themes - the twins Viola and Sebastian are asylum seekers arriving in Illyra - but also retains the magical otherworldliness of a land in suspended
animation thanks to the lovelorn inertia of its ruler and the studied withdrawn grief of the woman he admires.
