Each short piece is accompanied by a discussion about the important issues raised. As the project develops, the National’s website will include updates on the themes and writers involved. National Headlines is co-ordinated by Paul Jepson, whose reportage play Life After Life was seen at the National in 2002. The Straits opened at the Traverse in 2003 and subsequently at the Hampstead Theatre.
