Maureen had a guest role playing defence barrister Marion McLoughlin at the appeal of Nikki Wade in T.V drama Bad Girls - Series 3 Maureen's character convinced the judge and jury of Nikki's innocence and due to more evidence being submitted for the defence, Nikki's conviction was reduced to manslaughter. As she had already served 3 years of her life sentence, she was free to go.
